Join the RNIB Health and Social Care Training team for a practical training day designed for health and social care professionals.
The Vision Friends: Learning Disability Project, funded by the Welsh Government, helps staff , carers, friends and family members recognise and support sight loss in people with learning disabilities.
Learn how to identify signs of sight loss, access appropriate eye care services, and make simple changes that can improve independence, and wellbeing.
The training includes:
- Four interactive learning modules
- Practical, role-relevant guidance
- Hands-on activities and resources
- Ongoing support from the RNIB Health and Social Care Training team
- Lunch and refreshments provided.
Become a Vision Friend and help improve outcomes for people with learning disabilities affected by sight loss.
Funded places are limited so we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
