RNIB Health and Social Care Training team will deliver a short introductory course highlighting the impact of sight loss for people living with dementia. This course is suitable for all health and social care professionals supporting people with complex needs.

About your trainer:
Linzi Sansum, UK Training and Development Officer
Linzi has worked with the RNIB Health and Social Care Training team since 2013 and develops and delivers training to health and social care professionals supporting adults with sight loss and complex needs, specifically sight loss and learning disability, dementia, stroke and autism.
Linzi works in partnership with many organisations to create bespoke training tailored to their staff needs and has also been involved in developing webinars, e-learning and podcasts.
Passionate about making a difference to the lives of people living with sight loss and complex needs, Linzi works alongside professionals to support and upskill their sight loss knowledge and is looking forward to meeting you at the training.
<h4>Qualifications:</h4>BSc (Hons) Optometry – Glasgow Caledonian University
Diploma of Higher Education – Ophthalmic Dispensing (Distinction) – Glasgow Caledonian University.
