RMF's Chuck Loeb Jazz Ensemble Scholarship award memorializes Chuck Loeb, a Berks JazzFest legend, who performed with the series for years. Winning ensembles win a cash prize and the opportunity to perform with Berks Jazz Fest!
One winning ensemble will receive cash awards and the opportunity to perform at the Berks Arts Award Night on Thursday, April 3, 2026.
To be eligible:
- The ensemble must be made up of instrumentalists and/or vocalists of two or more students
- Students in the ensemble should be in grades 7-12 and live in/attend school in Berks County
- Ensembles of all music genres are welcome to audition, but preference will be given to jazz ensembles
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 30, 2026.
