Riverside Garden: Grand (re-)Opening Celebration!

After a year of planning and the efforts of many individuals and groups, the Riverside Community Garden is hosting a party on July 18 to celebrate the opening of the garden at its new location (across the street and down the block from our former site). The grill will be hot; we'll have food, give tours of the garden, and sign up new gardeners.
The Riverside Garden was established in 2013 and is New London's only community garden north of I-95. Residents of East New London and the downtown are especially encouraged to rent beds there, and individuals who live in other parts of the city - as well as those who live out of town but work in New London - are also welcome to join as bed space allows.
