Riverfront Music Series- Legend (Journey Tribute)

The Riverfront Music Series offers FREE live concerts on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. Co-hosted by the Town of Glastonbury and the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce, the concerts begin at 6:30 PM at the field behind the Riverfront Community Center (300 Welles Street). This year’s music series will include 3 headliner concerts and several performances by the Town Band.
Concerts are family-friendly and pet-friendly. (Pets must be leashed per Town ordinance).
Bring a picnic blanket, chairs, hats, sunblock, and insect repellent to protect yourself and your family from the summer elements.
Rain Date
The rain date for this concert will be Thursday, July 16 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Riverfront Park.
Food and Beverages
You’re also welcome to bring your own food and beverages, or you can grab a bite to eat from one of the on-site food vendors. Food trucks and craft vendors will be on-site for the headliner concerts on July 8, 15 and 22. Stay tuned for an updated list!
Please also consider bringing non-perishable/non-expired food items for donation to the Glastonbury Food Pantry. (Drop-off at the blue Parks & Recreation tent.)
Parking and Shuttle Service
Carpooling encouraged! A complimentary shuttle service will also be available, with pick-ups from the Dog Park parking lot (200 Welles St.) and the Ss. Isidore and Maria Parish Church parking lot (2577 Main St.) and drop-off at the RCC fairgrounds throughout the evening. The RCC parking lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with designated handicap parking spots as well.
Biking and walking to the concerts is also welcome and encouraged! Bike racks are available at the Riverfront Park baseball field, the Glastonbury Boathouse, and the RCC. Walkers can park at the Town Hall/Academy campus and then follow the paved walking path through the Dog Park to Riverfront Park (roughly half a mile walk).
Restrooms
The Riverfront Community Center will be open to provide access to the indoor restroom facilities. A select number of portable toilets will also be available on the fairgrounds.

The Riverfront Music Series is made possible thanks to local sponsors, and the Town/Chamber are currently seeking supporters for the 2026 concerts.
