Dragon Boat Racing: Lower Plaza 7AM-5PM
Free Asian Festival: Upper Plaza 10AM-5PM
Join us at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza for a full day of high-energy dragon boat racing, cultural performances, incredible food, and family-friendly fun along the Connecticut River.
Celebrate Asian and Pacific Island cultures through traditional music and dance, hands-on art activities, food, and martial arts demonstrations on the upper plaza with community and competitive club teams racing on the river.
Register a team, or cheer on your favorite paddlers. The races begin at approximately 7:00AM. No experience needed. Gather up your friends or colleagues and sign up today!
Free parking for this event is available on-street on both sides of the river. Paid, convenient parking is available in the Connecticut Convention Center Garage – park on the fifth floor and use the exit on the north side of the garage, allowing direct access to Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.
