RiverFest 2026

Register for free admission to the FRDC on Sept 26th and 27th.

Celebrate BC Rivers Day and World Rivers Day @theFRDC! RiverFest takes place on September 19th, 26th, and 27th with family-friendly activities, exhibitors along the quay, live performances, and more!

Sept 19th is a day of walks and workshops that connect you to the river’s stories. Sign up for a Coast Salish plant walk, a guided quayside walk, an ecologist walk, or an aquatic animals workshop!

On Sept 26th, visit the FRDC for the Family Fun Zone and art workshops, stroll along the quay to check out the exhibitors, enjoy live performances, and watch the Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade.

On Sunday, Sept 27th, visit the FRDC for the Family Fun Zone and art workshops, board the Samson V, and check out the Vancouver Wooden Boat Society's open house!
