River Reels Rendezvous is back! Your favourite night of the fall is coming up, and it’s the perfect way to wrap up another awesome paddling season; hanging out with friends, watching short films on the big screen, and celebrating all things river.
Join us at Canyon Meadows Cinemas in Calgary for an evening of stories from the water. You’ll see films about river surfing, whitewater kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, expedition paddling and more.
Event details:
When: Wednesday, November 4, 2026 | 6:15 - 10:00 PM (films start right at 7 sharp, so come early for good seats)
Where: Canyon Meadows Cinemas | 13226 Macleod Trl #110, Calgary, AB T2J 7E5
What to expect:
A night full of community-made paddling films, great prizes, good vibes, and plenty of inspiration for next season.
The concession will be open with popcorn, drinks (yes, there’s a bit of alcohol), and snacks. We’ll have a couple of short breaks where you can stretch, top up your drink, or grab a few more raffle tickets.
The raffle:
This year's raffel prizes are still in the works, but rest assured we got some awesome stuff coming down the pipeline.
Part of the raffle proceeds go to the Alberta River Surfing Association and the Alberta Whitewater Association, and the rest helps us keep River Reels running and growing for next year.
