A workshop exploring the local ecology of the riverside
About this Event

Join visual artists Clementine Sandison, Poppy Large and Shruti Bakre to work with plants that have been gathered from along the Clyde, and make prints with natural inks.

We'll look at a collection of plants from the riverside then experiment with making prints. Feel free to bring along some of your own foraged leaves or plants.

Children 8 years+ are welcome with a parent/guardian. There are toilets available in the Briggait but no free parking on site.

This event springs from our exhibition "The animate river" in Gallery 2 of The Briggait as part of the Watershed Festival.

Visit the Gallery 12-8pm

Sat 25 / Sun 26 / Fri 31 July

Sat 1 / Sun 2 Aug

WORKSHOP ALTERATION:

Due to a Far Right Rally that is being planned on Sat 25 July at Glasgow Green, we no longer feel that it's safe to run a plant walk in the Green as part of the workshop. Some of the Clyde Alive team will be joining the counter protest at 12, but we don't want to put any participants at risk, so we'll be meeting inside The Briggait at 2pm. This is a safe and welcoming space for all!
