Restore native habitat, remove invasive plants, and help install signage at the River Mouth!
Every First Friday we hold restoration events at the San Diego River Mouth. Help give back to a vibrant community of endangered plants, rare migratory and resident birds, and a variety of native habitats. Volunteers may help with invasive W**d removal, fence repair, interpretive sign installation, or trash cleanup to enhance fragmented habitat.
Come prepared in closed-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Sun protection and layers are always recommended. We will provide all of the tools, gloves, snacks and water. Just bring your self and a desire to give back to this important habitat!
