RITUAL: Tea Room Experience in Manhattan Beach

Step into RITUAL, an immersive tea room experience presented as part of MBAC’s newest contemporary ceramics exhibition.

Inspired by the traditions of Japanese tea ceremonies and reimagined through a contemporary lens, the installation transforms MBAC’s Education Space into a place for reflection, gathering, and sensory experience.

Created in collaboration with Zakka Bakka Shop and TEA TEA TEA, the experience brings together handcrafted ceramic works, traditional objects, and thoughtful design to explore how ritual shapes connection, presence, and community.

Guests are invited to slow down, engage with the space, and experience tea as both an artistic and cultural practice.
