Rita Bliss & Friends

This will be an evening of folk music that sometimes leans towards bluegrass, bluegrass that sometimes leans towards country; many mentions of backgrounds, and a healthy dose of banjo. Join Rita Bliss to celebrate the release of her second album. Bliss will play through the songs from this new record and more with accompaniment from Dom Fisher and Jimmie Scott Calhoun. Known for her honest lyrics and range of emotion, Bliss frames memories and moments in old-time melodies with sincerity and poise. Lost Patterns, featuring Beth Chrisman and Silas Lowe, will open the night.
