About this Event
The Fall 2026 Industrial Associates events: November 4, 5, and 6.
The RIT Industrial Associates Program has been growing at an incredible pace. Because of that growth, we’re thrilled to launch an RIT-specific symposium on November 4, 2026. Our strong collaboration with University of Rochester Institute of Optics continues, which is why the two symposiums will take place during the same week—just on different days—so members of both RIT and UR programs have the opportunity to attend both events. We will also still collaborate closely through shared student résumé books and coordinated student interviews for our IA members.
We have three days of programing for our IA members
Wednesday, Nov. 4:

If you have never attended the symposium before, please register as an RIT guest member to experience the symposium only, free of charge

Four dynamic departments—Imaging Science, Motion Picture Science, Color Science, and Photographic Science—have come together to create the Industrial Associates (IA) Program.
The IA symposium will be a full day of events consisting of program updates, student research presentations, a student poster session, company introductions and a company table session. Our goal is to provide a meaningful platform where student, industry and faculty have the chance to connect and to form collaborations.
