Risotto - Summer Hands-On Class

Ready to learn the secrets of one of Italy's most celebrated dishes? Join our Scuola Chef for this hands-on Risotto class and discover the art of making a perfectly creamy Golden Risotto with saffron, fresh lemon, and cheese.

This hands-on class is perfect for those looking to master one of Italian cooking's most rewarding techniques - with great wine and even better company.

In this Class You Will:

• Learn about the cultural origin of risotto from Lombardia.

• Explore the different rice types used to create risotto.

• Discover the ingredients and techniques for seasoning and balancing flavors.

• Prepare your own risotto with guidance of Chef of La Scuola during the workshop.

• Sip a glass of Italian wine while cooking, followed by a second paired perfectly to your risotto

• Take home your recipe card

Please Note:

• This hands-on class is limited to 8 guests

• The style of this class is set up for two people per workstation. If you come with a party larger than 2, additional guests will be paired with another guest for the workshop

• The menu for this class is exclusive to the concept - some dietary restrictions may not be able to be accommodated for this format

• Restrictions: Ages 12 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

• One ticket purchase is valid for one guest

• Seating is first-come, first-served

• Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes

• All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued ID proving they are 21 or older. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

Payment in full is required at the time of registration and all sales are final. No refunds are offered on classes and events. Groups of 5–10 guests: a minimum of 7 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future class or event. Groups of up to 4 guests: a minimum of 4 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon code for a future class or event We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you directly to offer a full refund or credit toward a future event. We are not able to offer credit, transfers, or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, or personal emergencies — however, you are always welcome to send someone in your place. If purchasing this class as a gift, please share this policy with the recipient, as it will still apply. Credits issued for La Scuola events are redeemable only for future La Scuola events and cannot be exchanged for store credit or Eataly gift cards.
