About this Event
About this event
Interested in taking your riso prints to the next level? Intimidated by the idea of printing photographs? In this intermediate 4-hour workshop we will cover the quirks, nuances, and best practices of photographic separation for riso printing. Students will create their own separations and print their photograph as a 2 or 3-color print.
This workshop assumes a basic understanding of risograph printing. Experience with photo editing software is highly recommended but not required.
Students should bring their own computer with access to Photoshop and/or Spectrolite (free software, mac OS only). Students can come with their own files or choose from some provided. If you must use an alternative software (GIMP, Affinity Photo, etc) please reach out to [email protected] prior to registration to ensure we can accommodate.
Please note: Masking is now encouraged, but optional in the studio space. Individuals who feel uncomfortable using the space with others unmasked, whether for health or any other reason, are welcome to request mask-wearing while using the studio space.
