Get ready to connect, learn, and share experiences with fellow testers in the community.
About this Event

In modern software development, risk evolves faster than test cycles. New features, tight deadlines, and constant change mean teams can no longer afford to test everything equally-or react to issues after they surface.

At the 4th Halifax Meetup, we’ll focus on how testers and quality leaders can move from reactive testing to intentional, risk-driven decision-making. This session is about learning how to identify what truly matters, prioritize effectively, and align testing strategies with real business and technical risk.

Event Details

  • Date: 5th February 2026 (Thursday)
  • Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM ADT
  • Venue: Capital Sports Club, 6300 Lady Hammond Rd, Halifax, NS B3K 2R6, Canada

Session: Risk Assessment and Strategy

Kateryna will walk through practical, real-world approaches to risk-based testing that help teams focus on high-impact areas, improve product quality, and make informed decisions when time and resources are limited.

Whether you’re a tester, QA lead, or delivery manager, this talk will help you move beyond checklist-driven testing and toward strategic, risk-aware quality practices.
