Rising Up: Stories of Struggle, Justice, Freedom & Hope with Rona Leventhal

Enjoy hearing tales from many cultures and countries that will pull at your heart and make you ponder: what is justice and how do we know if it’s been achieved? Do freedom and justice go together? We all have known struggle and have felt hope. Let's see what the folk stories tell us!
Rona’s engaging and dynamic style will have you immersed in other worlds. She has been touching the minds and imaginations of listeners for thirty-six years, gaining a repute for a cornucopia of voices and characters. One person said of Rona's style, “Throughout the story I felt like I was watching a fully staged play with scenery and a cast.” She has regaled audiences from Morocco, Australia, Thailand, and Italy, to right in her backyard, and now, Quincy, Massachusetts.
