Your Australian champion is fighting at home. Nacho grew up poor in a tiny village in the mountains of Venezuela. He was working by age 6. At 17 he was homeless. Boxing turned his life around, and now he lives in Geelong and holds the Australian title. On 21 November he fights in front of the city that took him in.
He’s not the only one. The rest of the card is high level local athletes who have been through a hard camp to put on a show for you. These are people from our own gym and our own community, and they’re going to leave it all in the ring.
You don’t have to know boxing to love this night.
