Figtree Crushers are hosting a gala dinner to raise much-needed funds for Tommy Walton's recovery after a life-altering accident. On June 22nd, 2024, Tommy, a devoted husband, father of two, and passionate local footy player suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury during a tackle. He fractured his C5 and C6 vertebrae, leading to an incomplete quadriplegic diagnosis. Despite the severity of his injury, Tommy’s determination and spirit have remained unshakable.
The road to recovery is long, with extensive rehabilitation and significant medical expenses ahead. The funds from this event will directly support Tommy's journey, helping cover the costs of ongoing treatments, specialised equipment, and home modifications needed to adapt to his new circumstances.
Event Details:
Tables: $1400 per table of 10 (plus ticketing fees)
$140 per ticket (plus ticketing fees) - limited tickets available
Dinner: 3-course meal
Drinks: 4-hour package including beer, wine, and soft drinks
Entertainment: Live DJ
Auctions: Silent and live auction
