RISE is inspired by the true stories of the Kashariyot—young Jewish women who disguised themselves as Aryan and risked everything to deliver food, messages, and weapons to the underground resistance throughout Nazi-occupied Europe. The performance will feature selected scenes and songs from the musical, followed by a conversation with its writer and composer, Joshua Daniel Hershfield. And cast. A dessert reception will conclude the afternoon. Admission is $10 per person or free with museum membership.
