1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. A mammogram is the gold stardard for women starting at age 40 but half of all cancers found in women with dense breasts are missed by mammography alone and supplemental screening is recommended.

Join the Breast Cancer Survivorship Foundation Fundraiser to help more women get personalized breast health screenings. Many women are chosing to skip screening due to the cost that can range from $90 to $1500, in out-of-pocket charges, not covered by insurance. Women miss screenings because of cost concerns, misinformation, access barriers, and fear.
