Rise & Connect is a structured networking event designed for professionals, business owners, and leaders who value purposeful relationships and measurable growth.

The morning begins with open networking, followed by facilitated 60-second introductions and guided discussion focused on collaboration, visibility, and opportunity development.

Our featured speaker is Mike Womer, and he will be presenting: Intro to Canva for Small Business Owners.

In this beginner-friendly presentation, small business owners will learn how to use Canva to create polished, professional marketing materials without needing graphic design experience. Participants will get an overview of Canva’s main tools, templates, brand kit features, and design basics, with practical examples for creating social media graphics, flyers, business cards, presentations, and promotional materials.

This session will focus on simple, time-saving ways to use Canva to strengthen a brand’s visual presence, create consistent content, and confidently design materials that support business growth. By the end of the presentation, attendees will understand how to navigate Canva, customize templates, use their brand colors and fonts, and export designs for print or digital use.

In addition, participants will enjoy a light breakfast (coffee, bagels, and a few sweet treats)
