Rise & Chirp: A Birds + Brunch Experience

We’ll gather at 8:00am for coffee and a relaxed, guided bird walk with Lauren Eno of Wild Birds Unlimited. The hike will start on campus at Young Lodge, across from the overlook. In the morning hour we will meander down the Mount Sequoyah trail. The trail includes some steep, slightly rugged areas, and we will spend about an hour and a half bird watching. We’ll move slowly, pause often, and watch for birds — this is about observing, not covering distance. Around 10:00am we will return to Young Lodge for brunch.

Brunch includes quiche (veg & meat), waffles with strawberries, sausage links, fresh fruit salad, and fruit bread with cream cheese. To drink we will have juices, mimosas (21+), and a full coffee bar.

$35 Adults | $25 Youth (12+)
