Join us on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Space for a day of empowerment, connection, and deep self-care. As the trees begin to shed and the season invites us to slow down, we’re reminded that letting go is part of our rhythm too. This retreat is a gentle space for Women of Color to come together—to release what’s heavy, reconnect with what’s true, and feel held in community. Through healing practices, storytelling, and shared presence, we’ll root into ourselves, making space for rest and what needs tending as we move through this season.

Experience transformative practices guided by soulful therapists Aida Hernandez, LPC, and Melissa Bada-Devers, LCSW, integrating music, astrology, hypnotherapy, and psychodrama. Through creative and immersive experiences, you’ll be invited to process your story, release what holds you back, and plant new intentions for your path forward.

🌱 Empowerment Through Community – Connect with like-minded Women of Color in a sacred space where your story is honored and celebrated.

🌷 Inner-Child Connection & Sound Healing – Reconnect with your younger self through a restorative sound bathing experience, allowing soothing vibrations to open your heart to self-love. Let the gentle tones guide you back to the wisdom within.

🥁 Embodied Soulful Healing – Tap into ancestral rhythms that honor our cultures and spirits with our guest, percussionist and singer, Carmen Arrojo. Through live percussion instruments, let the beat guide you back to your truest self and awaken the parts of you ready to rise.

Throughout the day, you’ll engage in workshops, guided meditations, and grounding practices that root you in your truth while nourishing your spirit.

A locally prepared, nourishing lunch will be provided, so you can rest, connect, and feel cared for throughout the experience.

With over 25 years of combined experience as psychotherapists, Melissa and Aida center the reclaiming of culture as an integral part of healing—because we heal most powerfully when we are seen, held, and supported in community.
