🌱✨ Growing Together: Cultivating Healthy Minds and Bright Futures ✨🌱
Join us for Growing Together, a biweekly series founded by HS student and mental health advocate Juliet Rojas, is designed to nurture the emotional well-being and positive mindsets of children aged 5-9. Through a variety of engaging activities like mindfulness exercises, journaling, movement, and art, children will develop essential skills to support their mental and emotional journey while connecting with others.
Guided by Juliet's mission to create a supportive environment 💖, this program empowers young participants to embrace self-expression, reduce stress, and foster a mindset that reflects self-empowerment and authentic self- love. Together, we’ll lay the cultivate the foundation for brighter futures and healthier habits! 🌻
Juliet has been working INCREDIBLY hard on building this program for the past 10 months and we cannot wait to see her SHINE!
We HIGHLY encourage your child to engage in all 8 sessions to build skillsets and at the end we'll have a special presentation to highlight the beautiful and impact work they have completed!

About Juliet Rojas:
Juliet Rojas, the visionary behind Growing Together, is a dedicated high school student and passionate mental health advocate. Inspired by her role as the oldest sibling to three younger children, Juliet has always been drawn to helping others and fostering positive change in young lives.
Her aspiration to become a psychiatrist, specializing in children’s mental health, drives her to create impactful programs like this. Juliet’s personal experiences, combined with her leadership and creativity, shine through in her mission to promote healthier minds and positive futures for children. She believes in the power of early intervention to nurture resilience and well-being, making Growing Together a heartfelt reflection of her commitment to making a difference.

About Rise + Read Little Revolutionaries Program:
Age Range: Ages 0-9, Pre-K to 4th Grade
Program Description:
This program builds foundational reading skills for Kindergarten readiness and long-term success through phonics, storytelling, and project-based learning. It emphasizes culturally relevant content to reflect diverse identities, fosters pride, and promotes cultural awareness. Integrating arts and expressive activities helps children process emotions and develop a positive self-concept. By involving caregivers, it strengthens family engagement in literacy and fosters community unity. Focused on low-income and historically marginalized children, it addresses educational disparities, promoting equity and improving literacy for children up to 9 years old.

Rohi’s Liberation Station 501c3, a non-profit initiative by Rohi's Readery, honors historically marginalized communities through a multigenerational literacy learning approach.
Programming is FREE (paid for by Rohi's Liberation Station) unless otherwise stated on the event site. Donations are appreciated and will go back into Educational Programming and Services.
