RIPSNORTER X MANUEL BARSALLO PANAMA COFFEE CUPPING

On the 30th, we're excited to welcome our friend Manuel Barsallo from Panama to Ripsnorter.

Manuel is one of those people who seems to have a hand in everything great happening in Panamanian coffee. From quality control and processing to green buying, education, and producer relationships, he has spent years helping some of the country's most exciting coffees find their way into cups around the world.

What's cool is that he's not just a coffee marketer. He's actually been involved in cupping, green buying, processing, Brewers Cup competition, and producer support. In recent years he's been described as handling quality control, processing, and sales for Café Don Benjie.

Some of the incredible Panamanian coffees we've shared at Ripsnorter over the years have come through Manuel. From legendary Geishas to experimental micro lots, he's constantly searching for coffees that tell a story and showcase the incredible diversity of Panama's coffee landscape.

For this special cupping, Manuel is bringing a lineup of absolute bangers from Panama. Expect rare varieties, exceptional producers, and some of the most exciting coffees currently being produced in the country. More importantly, you'll get the chance to hear the stories behind them directly from someone who has worked closely with the people producing them.
