About the event:
Ripple Effect Leadership: How Choosing Collaboration Over Competition Can Reshape Culture
“Women are not falling behind because of ability or ambition. They are held back by isolation. Collaboration is shared power in action that elevates performance and expands opportunity.”
We tend to think of leadership as an individual pursuit born from ambition, achievement, or title. Yet the most transformative leadership arises from everyday choices that change the way people think, behave, and connect with one another.
This keynote explores a powerful shift with outsized impact: the decision women make to move away from comparison and competition and toward collaboration and contribution.
Kelli Komondor challenges the belief that women must compete with one another for visibility, promotions, and influence. She confronts the underlying dynamics that keep women isolated: scarcity thinking, unspoken rivalry, and the fear of being overshadowed.
Then she offers an alternative: a leadership model built on shared power, mutual elevation, and collective advancement.

Meet the Presenter:
Kelli A. Komondor is a powerhouse in visibility strategy, consulting, and brand elevation with a dedication to amplifying the voices of women-owned businesses and female professionals. A best-selling author, dynamic speaker, and sought-after consultant, Kelli’s mission is clear: to help women rise - ensuring their stories are seen, heard, and celebrated.
As the CEO and founder of K2 Creative, LLC, Kelli helps entrepreneurs, coaches, and thought leaders “Make Your Message Matter” through her signature Visibility, Influence, and Brand Elevation (VIBE) services. Her clients have been featured on major platforms such as Dr. Phil, ABC’s Jet 24, Pittsburgh Today Live, Ya Jagoff! Media, Talk Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Business Times, The Boston Herald, and The New York Telegraph, helping them secure speaking engagements and high-impact opportunities that elevate their brands.
As a founding member and Executive Director of Brave Women Project (BWP), Kelli leads a growing community of women committed to taking brave action in their personal and professional lives. She created The Pillar Awards in 2023 as BWP’s flagship event - an annual celebration honoring women who embody and amplify the organization’s 5 Es for Life: Educate, Empower, Encourage, Engage, and Evolve. The Pillar Awards has become a premier platform in the region for recognizing extraordinary women whose bravery, leadership, and compassion make a lasting impact in their communities and industries.
Her unwavering dedication to advancing women has earned her recognition, including a 2023 Cribs for Kids Women of Achievement Award. She is deeply committed to mentorship, guiding the next generation through programs such as Girls Inc. (formerly Strong Women Strong Girls), PA Women Work’s Three Cups of Coffee, and serving as a mentor at Pittsburgh Business Times’ Mentoring Monday.
In 2020, Kelli created the Amazon bestselling anthology Twenty Won: 21 Female Entrepreneurs Share Their Stories of Business Resilience During a Global Crisis, a powerful collection of stories from women who demonstrated resilience, innovation, and strength during the 2020 pandemic. By giving these women a platform to share their journeys, Kelli not only elevated their voices but also inspired others facing challenges in business and life.
She is a member of United Way’s Women United and The Pittsburgh Women’s Group (TPWG) and continues to give back through leadership and philanthropy. Most recently, she served as the 2025 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Visionary of the Year team captain for The Bradley Bunch, raising awareness and funds for blood cancer research. Since 2019, she has supported the Community Liver Alliance, contributing to its You Make a Difference Luncheon and Walk the Talk for Liver Health initiatives. Her earlier volunteer work includes serving on the Art for Change / Art for AIDS committee with the Persad Center and as a fundraiser committee member for Cindy’s Memorial Bark Park.
Beyond her work and volunteerism, Kelli is a wife, proud mother of two adult children, and a doting aunt and great aunt who calls the tiny borough of Port Vue, Pennsylvania home. In her downtime, you’ll usually find her cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, sipping her way through a wine tasting, or gathering family and friends for good food and tons of love. When she’s not hosting, she’s at her laptop creating content that connects, inspires, and keeps the stories flowing - with 80s hair bands and 90s and 2000s rock anthems playing in the background. She’s a lover of love, writing, and food - and a hater of hate, chaos, and stemless wine glasses
