Another Amazing Velo29 Sportive! 3 great routes, Short and Medium are not too hilly, Long tackles the Buttertubs from Hawes.
Everything you’d expect from a Velo29 Sportive on a hopefully sunny July Saturday!
Ripon Tour was established in 2014 to celebrate the Grand Depart of the TDF in Yorkshire. Hard to beleive it was all those years ago. We’ve modified the route since 2014 but the Long uses much of day 2 from the 2014 Tour de France.
3 great routes as always, if hills are your thing then go Long for The Buttertubs (from Hawes) and Robin Cross Hill as well as Grinton Moor! The Medium has lumps between the 2 Thornton Watlass Feeds, the Short we’ve done our best to keep it as flat as we can!
Well stocked feeds every 25 miles, brilliant signage and miles of smiles as with every Velo29 Sportive.
A lovely mid-summer Sportive taking in a lot of what Yorkshire has to offer. The little lanes West of the A1 are superb, some of our favourite riding!
