TOPIC: "Behind-the-Scenes Tour at Tampa International Airport"

SUMMARY: Join us for a short presentation about Tampa International Airport and its ERM Department, followed by:

• A tour of Airside D Base Camp.
• An airfield tour - Learn all about the airfield's daily operations with a stop at our Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) facility.
• A Behind the Scenes (BTS) Tour - Get a special look at parts of the airport that travelers don’t normally get to see. You’ll explore our 3-mile-long baggage system, visit the TSA bag inspection area, and step inside the control room where our team keeps everything running smoothly. It’s a unique way to learn how TPA works from the inside out!
• Lunch from our very own Columbia Restaurant, sponsored by Gallagher Bassett.

SPECIAL NOTE: Please arrive by 8:15am; event begins promptly at 8:30am. No walk-ups will be accepted.

• Must be an active RIMS Tampa Bay Chapter Member to attend

PARKING: There is parking at SkyCenter One out front. If that lot is full, you will need to park in Economy Parking and take the shuttle to the Rental Car Center, then take the breezeway to the SkyCenter.
