This workshop will cover the fundamentals of information management and GRAMA (the Government Records Access and Management Act).
About this Event

This two-part class will cover both the fundamentals of records and information management (RIM) and of GRAMA (the Government Records Access and Management Act). We will introduce attendees to RIM concepts, such as records retention schedules, records access/GRAMA classification, and the process for responding to GRAMA requests. Come with questions; leave with answers.

The RIM portion (9:30 - 10:30am) will be taught by Kendra Yates, RIM Section Administrator & DARS Chief Records Officer, and the GRAMA portion (10:45 am - 12:00pm) will be taught by Rebekkah Shaw from the Government Records Office and Monica Minaya, Records Ombudsman.
