RIGMC presents 'Merry and Bright'

Celebrate the Season and Each Other!
Whether the season means the glow of the menorah, the unity candle of Kwanzaa, the twinkle of Christmas lights, or the hush of a snowy evening, we have a concert for you. 'Merry and Bright' invites audiences to embrace the holidays in all their diversity.
The program moves from soul-stirring arrangements of classics like “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “We Three (Swingin’) Kings” to contemporary winter ballads such as “Merry Christmas, Darling” and “Evergreen.” It also draws on festive songs from a range of cultural traditions, including “Eight Nights” and “Together We Rise (Tuko Pamoja).” The result is a tapestry of sound that reflects the many faces of the holidays and the communities that celebrate them.
