Righteous Roots (est. 2021) is the production and songwriting of Virginia-born guitarist and vocalist, Tom Leighton. Tom calls his style Island Rock, combining elements of rock, reggae, and dub. Tom has performed solo and with his band at hundreds of events throughout 8 states. In 2024, the band opened for HR of Bad Brains. In 2025, Tom worked on the soundtrack for the romantic-comedy, Boardwalk Winter.
