🌊 Join us at Main Beach Park on January 25th for a special event to create life-size North Atlantic Right Whale mosaic art installation curated by Lauri Holton, a local artist and shell collector, using oyster shells! 🐋 Let's come together to raise awareness and celebrate the beauty of calving season.
We need thousands of oyster shells to complete this project and that’s why we are asking the community for help!
What you can do:
🦪 Collect only grey oyster shells on our local beaches from now until event day
🐳 Help creating a stunning right whale mosaic
☀️ Enjoying a fun day by the ocean with like-minded individuals of all ages
Please keep in mind we will not accept any freshly shucked shells due to the sharp edges. When you are done collecting shells please bring them with you to the event. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!
