Proud Cook Island tenor Ridge Ponini is a 2025–26 Te Pae Kōkako TANZOS Artist and recent Runner-up in the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Prize, with performances across New Zealand, Australia, and the Cook Islands. Soprano Holly Evans (Ngāti Mutunga), fresh from completing her Master of Music at the University of Auckland, will continue her studies in 2026 at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Both artists are semi-finalists in the prestigious Kiri Te Kanawa Song Quest, making this concert a special chance to hear two exceptional voices on the rise.
