About this Event
Rider Biomechanics - the way you as a rider organise yourself when in the saddle. You can not NOT influence the horse's way of going when in the saddle, so let's make it a positive rather than a negative influence.
At this clinic, each rider will have a 45 minute private lesson, during which we will discuss their goals for the lesson or longer term, observe their starting place, then identify the area of change in their riding that will help them most. Riders will become aware of their current way and new way and how this change affects their horse. They will have areas to focus on, to take away and practice, with their horse providing feedback as to whether they have 'it' or not.
Riders are encouraged to watch other lessons. Each rider ticket includes a spectator ticket for their groom / driver. Spectators are welcome and will be encouraged to participate in exercises and questions.
Riders of any age, experience and discipline are welcome, there is something for everyone. Karin is experienced in working with new and returning riders, through to those competing at International levels in dressage and eventing. Groundwork or Lunge sessions are also available.
Horses should be a minimum of 4 years old and sound, fitness is not generally an issue as lessons will be paced according to the horse/rider needs.
