Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary Open House /Doors Open Ottawa 2026

Running over the course of two days, there is sure to be something for everyone! Tour our rehabilitation centre and see wildlife being fed through one-way viewing windows. Bid on some fabulous items at our silent auction. Shop at our bake sale or buy some RVWS merchandise. Get your face painted for free, play games with the kids, grab a complimentary freezie, and enjoy the entertainment. There will be delicious vegan food available for purchase as well.

We welcome monetary donations and donations from our wishlist.

Please do not share our street address anywhere on the internet. Apart from Open House weekend, our address is not published because we are located on private property, we are not a public drop-in centre, and we triage all inquiries to see if wildlife indeed need to be rescued or can be reunited with their mother (who is much better at raising her young than we are).
