Meet time: 10:00am, KSU @ 10:30 from BMW Motorcycles of Riverside.
Ascend into the mist-shrouded peaks of the San Bernardino Mountains for our September gathering at Toni’s Kitchen in Crestline. To get there, we’ll tackle the legendary “Rim of the World” Highway (Highway 18), a masterclass in mountain engineering that offers sweeping views of the Inland Empire 5,000 feet below. The final approach through the cedar-lined twists of Lake Gregory Drive provides a technical and scenic finish, leading us right to the heart of this charming alpine village.
Toni’s is a beloved local staple, famous for its hearty portions and welcoming “home-away-from-home” atmosphere that caters perfectly to hungry riders. We’ll gather near the shores of Lake Gregory to swap stories from our summer expeditions and plan for the high-altitude runs of the autumn season. This is a classic mountain run that combines technical canyon carving with a relaxing lakefront destination. Space at the kitchen is limited for our group, so be sure to sign up early for this high-country feast!
