This was so much fun last year; let’s do it again!
Let’s ride together to the fourth annual Porchfest DSM, a free strolling live music festival that will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7. A total of 20 bands will be playing on Union Park porches from 11:30 am to 5 pm. Link for more info: https://www.porchfestdsm.org
We’ll meet at 10 am in the Fareway parking lot in Johnston, by Van Dee’s. We’ll ride to Waterworks, turn around, and then attend Porchfest on the way back. This would be 25-30 miles.
Those who would like a shorter ride (15-20 miles) can start at Captain Roy’s and meet us at 10:30 am. on the way to Waterworks. Please indicate in the comments if you’ll be taking this option so we can look for you!
At Porchfest, we’ll enjoy 1-hour sets of live music, starting every half-hour all afternoon. There was some food and drink sold there last year.
We’ll plan to leave Porchfest and ride back around 3 pm but those who would like to stay longer are welcome to do so! As this is a Sunday ride with entertainment, it will be co-ed. Feel free to bring a friend!
