9:00am for 9:30am start
On Sunday 16th February 2025, Christian's friends will be gathering 9am at the Gamekeeper, Scotter to ride the Two Bridges loop, one of Christian's favourite rides, before returning to The Gamekeeper to raise a glass & remember Christian with family & friends.
It will be 12 years since Christian’s tragic cycling accident, every year since we have gathered to remember & raise money for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, who airlifted Christian to hospital on that sad day. The charity remains very important to Christian’s family, so please give what you can, the link is below.

Over the years this annual ride has now raised close to £12,000, last year's total was a massive £1,416.
We have spoken with Christian’s parents, Christine & Pete, they are really pleased we are all still thinking of Christian & they pass on their thanks to you all.
Thank you to Tony & Jess, the landlords at The Gamekeeper for continuing to support this.
- please avoid parking any cars in The Gamekeeper car park.
- toilet access is available pre-ride via car park entrance to the pub.
- ride starts 9:30am after group photo.
- chips & sausage will be provided from 12noon in the private area of The Gamekeeper bar.
We would like to have an idea of numbers returning to The Gamekeeper post ride for food so we can plan, please indicate;
- “going” if riding & returning to The Gamekeeper for food
- "interested" if just riding.
Anyone unable to ride due to injury, weather etc, please feel free to join riders on their return from 12 noon onwards & raise a glass with us.
Christian’s Two Bridges route.
Leaves Scotter & heads towards Susworth, then north towards Keadby, over the Trent, south from Althorpe down Trentside to Walkeringham, right to Gringley on the Hill, left to Gainsborough, then Morton, East Stockwith, Susworth & return to Scotter. Shortcut options at Walkeringham & Morton.
Please remember this is not an organised ride, but simply an opportunity for friends (& friends of friends) to ride, catch up & remember our friend Christian. Please do take care, follow the rules of the road & support any fellow rider who may need help.
