Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm HKT

CPD Hours: 6 (Formal)

This course will demonstrate to RICS candidates, what happens during the APC process, and what it requires to prepare for the written submission and final interview. This course aims to help candidates to achieve RICS qualifications.

Overview

The course will be delivered offline as a two 3-hour training days, each includes a break of 15 minutes. Delegates will receive an electronic copy of a workbook to accompany the course.
The case study is your opportunity to demonstrate your range of skills and competencies on an important project and is a key component of your APC submission. It is also a major part of the final assessment, and with the right tools, it can be approached with confidence. You will learn how to choose a suitable case study, structure the report, what to include and how to use industry language to demonstrate your competencies. Using best practice examples presented by an APC assessor you’ll identify the most common mistakes and how they can be avoided.
Walk through the assessment criteria applied during interviews, to gain a clear understanding of how you can best prepare. Look at sample questions, test your response techniques and use case study material to critique good and bad responses. Learn from a current and highly experienced assessor who will talk you through best practice for preparing and delivering your presentation and for answering interview questions.
With ample time to practice your skills and the chance to speak with an APC assessor directly, this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to demonstrate your technical competencies and business skills, and make sure you have the best chance of becoming a Chartered Surveyor.
