Rick & Lesa are excited to perform at GIO Fund Events Center for the FIRST TIME on July 30! Some of our Wilmington dance friends attend events here and recommended it. For the GIO Fund patrons who may not know us, Rick & Lesa are singer/songwriters/entertainers well known in Carolina Beach Music for their award winning original music that includes 34 #1 beach radio hits and 27 Carolina Beach Music Awards. Rick is a CBMA Hall of Famer with 19 personal CBMA Awards. Lesa is a 2 time CBMA Female Vocalist of the Year with 8 personal CBMA Awards. But their music isn't just "beach music." It's a wonderful blend of R&B Soul, Rock N Roll, little bit of Country and their beautiful ballads will tug your heartstrings. The Gio Fund is a section 501(c)(3) non-profit no-K*ll animal welfare fundraising organization serving the greater Wilmington, North Carolina area. Originally incorporated in Morris County, New Jersey in March 2011, our founders and volunteers are dedicated to raising the much needed funds to help at risk dogs, like Gio, receive shelter, food and medical care. By making a tax deductible donation to the Gio Fund, we can continue to help more at risk dogs find loving homes.
