Join the ADSVA and Blake McDonald for a walking tour of Richmond’s Downtown Grace Street and environs, a corridor of commerce of the burgeoning city in the 1920s. Because of the era, many of the buildings were designed in the Art Deco style. Mr. McDonald will discuss how this came to be. Blake McDonald is an Architectural Historian and was formerly at the Virginia Department of Historic Resources. He is currently with Historic Richmond.
ADSVA members will have first dibs to register for this event which will be limited to 25 people. Members, please use the code provided in the April edition of the Flapper to receive your discount. Registration is open to the general public.
