Richmond, Texas - Armed Security Officers - HIRING EVENT

Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM.
Meet with Hiring Managers to explore Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flex positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in the Richmond, Texas, area. Various days and shifts are available at $19.14/hr, with weekly pay.
Location of event: Houston Regional Office
8300 Cypress Creek Parkway, Suite 450, Houston, TX 77070
This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers.
Requirements:
- Must have an ActiveTexas Level III Security License in hand.
- Must have own weapon, Level 3 holster, and duty gear.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have a valid Driver’s license, clean MVR, and 3 years minimum driving history
- Over the Age of 21
- Must have availability to work weekends
- Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical, and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision
- Ability to exercise good judgment, make sound decisions &
- Capable of performing duties with a high level of accuracy and ability to maintain the highest level of integrity
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Security officer and/or military experience is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen pre-hire.
- Willing to work in various weather conditions.
-Must regularly walk or stand for extended periods and over long distances.
