Join us on a ride through some of Richmond's historic streetcar suburbs.
About this Event


Ever wonder how Richmonders moved around town in the year 1900? No, not cars, not buses. They walked, rode a horse, rode their newfangled "safety bicycle", or they rode a streetcar.


Join us Thursday, August 20 to learn more about Richmond's streetcar history and to re-create trips to Idlewood Park and Westhampton Park. This ride is approximately 13 miles (mostly flat) but with a couple impressive hills. Easy pace.


Meet at Clark Springs Elementary school 1101 Dance street at 6:00 PM ready to ride at 6:15 PM.


What to bring: water, helmet, bike lights
