Inspired by the Hawaiian word Kaua, meaning “battle,” Richmond Kaua Events are created for teams ready to showcase their talent, push their limits, and experience competition at its best. Athletes can look forward to exciting visual production, athlete gifts, first-place prizes, and a coaches’ room filled with snacks to keep everyone energized throughout the weekend!
Our two-day optional format gives teams the freedom to compete on one or both days. With our 0/100 split-score format, teams can choose their performance option, with their highest score determining final placement. Novice teams will compete and receive awards on Day One, while all other teams will receive awards on Day Two, regardless of their selected performance option.
