Richmond County Orchestra: “Heroes and Harmony” concert

Celebrate the Richmond County Orchestra's 28th anniversary at "Heroes and Harmony," a free concert honoring our first responders.
Under the baton of Maestro Alan Aurelia, the 54-piece Richmond County Orchestra will perform excerpts from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, along with works by Morton Gould, John Philip Sousa, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Tchaikovsky's thrilling 1812 Overture. The Brighton Heights Youth Orchestra will be joining the RCO as a special guest for “Amazing Grace.”
Families are encouraged to arrive early at 4:30 PM for children's face painting before the concert begins at 5:30 PM. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
The Richmond County Orchestra has performed at the Music Hall at Snug Harbor, the St. George Theatre and at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall and the Guggenheim Museum
