Our 14th Charity Steam Fair returns on Saturday August 8th from 11am through to 4.30pm.Tickets on sale Friday 3rd April at 10am
It's expected the railway will be running at least 6 of its own steam engines, together with a number of internal combustion engines.
Our usual intensive service will operate all day with extra loco movements, combinations and stock variations all thrown in, not forgetting the end of day locomotive cavalcade!
Steam traction engines, portables and vintage tractors will also be in operation in the demonstration field weather permitting, with a small collection of Classic Cars in attendance too.
‘Leary’ our vertical boiler loco will be offering Driver for Fiver experiences again, along with traction engines in the demonstration field.
We will hopefully be revealing an all new temporary attraction later in the year, this is yet to be confirmed!
The station café will be serving a selection of homemade food and drink, including local award winning BEARDspoon Cider and Goachers Ale.
Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children. (A discount is available for HRA members).
All tickets must be pre-purchased and are not available on the day.

Profits from the 2026 event will go to Riding for the Disabled.
