Get ready to dive into all things bees and share tips with fellow Richmond beekeepers at our fun Field Day!
About this Event

Plans are underway for the annual RBA Members Field Day — a fun, experiential day designed for RBA members to connect, learn, and spend time together around bees and beekeeping.

Registration opens at 10:30 a.m., with activities and demonstrations beginning at 11:00 a.m. The day runs until 2:30 p.m.

We’ll be offering food, soft drinks, hands-on hive activities, and demonstrations covering various aspects of beekeeping, including:

Oxalic acid treatment for Varroa mites
Heat treatment for Varroa mites
Troubleshooting and solving challenges with multiple colonies
And more

RBA will provide hot dogs, buns, and non-alcoholic drinks. Please bring:

A dish to share
Your bee suit

Members are welcome to bring guests. Please ensure that all attendees are registered on Eventbrite so we can plan appropriately and ensure enough food and supplies for everyone.
