John grew up in Wisconsin and still embraces those humble roots with his passion for music, Busch Light and the love for meeting new friends and sharing stories and putting smiles on faces. The intent is to bring a little bit of Nashville's Broadway to you with classic to current country songs with humor and some great story telling.
After a (20 year) hiatus from performing live music to raise his (2) daughters, get a divorce, and find true love with his wife Cindy. John is ready to jump off the cliff and start his solo acoustic performance phase of life. "Go after what you want and you do you"!
During the 90's, John played bass guitar with the popular Midwest bands BADWOLF and The WIZENHIEMERS recording as well as playing many live shows from Madison to New York. Ironically the BADWOLF brothers (Charles Thomas, Rob Jolin, Wade Otis, John Richardson) reunited in 2023, and are currently working on recording a new album of original music with 12 new BADWOLF songs anticipated release of Winter 2024. https://soundcloud.com/badwolfmadison
