Richard is a seasoned performer with thousands of performances worldwide to his credit – he’s performed in five continents – North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia solo and alongside Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Clapton, Albert Lee, Dave Peacock, Martin Taylor, Brent Mason, Gary Brooker, Stuart Duncan, Bryan Sutton, Joe Brown, Ralph McTell and many others.
Born in Beckenham in 1971, Internationally acclaimed guitarist Richard Smith is a veteran road dog sometimes referred to as “The hardest working man in the biz.” With a repertoire that spans from uptempo barn burners to swing standards, Chopin, Bach, Mozart, Scott Joplin, fiddle tunes, pop, 60’s classics to Sousa marches, his solo show is a showcase of guitar virtuosity and versatility.
